Here you will find answers to the questions that our customers ask most frequently regarding having a drop ship or wholesale account with Grow and Make. If you have any questions that are not covered in this article, please email [email protected] and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
Grow and Make assembles every kit by hand in Portland, Oregon. We place an emphasis on quality and sustainability in our products and take great pride in the kits we produce.
Q: What are my options for working with Grow and Make?
A: We offer dropship and wholesale programs to companies that are looking to sell our products.
Dropship: Our standard dropship program allows for you to sell Grow and Make products on your company’s website. We do not allow dropship clients to sell on third-party websites such as Amazon, Etsy or eBay.
Wholesale: Our wholesale program offers a larger discount than dropship, and allows you to sell online or in your brick and mortar retail store. Wholesale kits are sold by the casepack, so there are minimum order quantities for each product.
We do offer private label kits under the right circumstances. If you are interested in making a private label kit, pitch us your ideas and we will work with you to see if it is the right fit.
If you are interested in becoming a dropship or wholesale client, please contact us and we will send you an application to fill out. We approve dropship and wholesale clients on a quarterly basis and can pre-approve applicants when time allows for it.
Q: Are there assets that Grow and Make provides which our business can use to list, promote or describe Grow and Make kits?
A: Yes, we have an online (cloud based) shared set of folders which we will make available to approved merchants for use. It is important that you not copy our descriptions, but instead use them as a reference to write your own.
Q: Are there any restrictions or limitations on where I can sell Grow and Make Kits?
A: Yes, we only allow the sale of our products on your website or in your brick and mortar store. We do not allow re-sale of our kits on Amazon, Ebay, Etsy or other third-party channels without explicit permission.
Q: What are the requirements of the merchant for working with Grow and Make?
A: Grow and Make requires that customers establish an account by filling out an application (email [email protected]). Your application will then be under review for approval. If you are approved, we will send you the necessary contracts to sign and the information that you need to begin placing orders. We require that merchants comply with our guidelines regarding MAP pricing, use of our media assets, branding and intellectual property requirements.
Q: Are all products available for drop-ship and wholesale?
A: Most of our products are available for these programs, but not all of them. Some of our products have specific environmental requirements (light exposure, temperature, etc.). We usually do not offer these products for wholesale because we cannot ensure their quality once they have left our facility. For up to date product lists or to inquire about specific products that you would like to carry, please contact us.
Q: How long does it typically take to ship a drop-ship order?
A: We will ship within 48 hours of the order receipt.
Q: Are there any up-front costs or fees?
A: No, there are no up-front costs or fees. We’re excited to have the partnership with you and can help you to get started.
