Spicy Buffalo Wings Recipe

HOT WINGS  Have fun with your hot sauce!

Want hot wings this weekend, but make it vegan? We've cooked up a fun recipe for cauliflower buffalo hot wings for ya. Not a fan of cauliflower? You can totally use this buffalo sauce on your favorite chicken wings or vegan nuggets too!  🍗

Buffalo Cauliflower

  • 1 head of cauliflower (or chicken wings)
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • salt (to taste)
  • 6 tbsp coconut oil or butter
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/2 cup hot sauce (we like our Louisiana Hot Sauce recipe best for this)
  • 2 tablespoons flour

1.  Preheat oven to 425°F

2.  Cut cauliflower into florets and place on baking tray. Drizzle with 1 tbsp of oil, sprinkle with salt and bake for 10 min.

3.  While cauliflower is roasting, start your sauce by melting coconut oil/butter and stir in minced garlic.

4.  When coconut oil/butter has melted, add hot sauce, salt to taste, remove from heat and place in a large bowl. To thicken sauce, add 2 tbsp of flour; to thin, add 1 to 3 tsp of distilled white vinegar.

5.  Remove cauliflower from oven, toss with sauce until coated and bake for an additional 15 min or until easily pierced with a fork. Serve warm and enjoy!
