Gabriel Costmetics, Inc., founded in 1991 by Mexican-native Gabriel DeSantino, traces its roots to homemade naturopath, herbal, and homeopathic cosmetics containing seaweed, kelp and herbs gathered by the ocean. DeSantino became very aware of how young and unlined his grandmother’s skin remained with use of her natural cosmetics and her face inspired further research alongside a European Bio-Chemist with 30 years experience developing botanical formulations.
All Gabriel’s formulas, void of synthetic chemicals and animal by-products, have been tested on a panel of more than 150 people comprised of all skin types, ages, nationalities, sex, and professions. No animal testing.
The company is certified by Group Ecocert (France) and supports and contributes to Campaign for Safe Cosmetics, Choose Cruelty Free, The North American Vegetarian Society, The Ocean Conservancy, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, and local to its headquarters in Bellevue, Washington, the Saint Ignatius of Loyola Foundation which provides physical and emotional support for women undergoing cancer treatment, focusing on providing breast prostheses and post-mastectomy bras to under-insured and un-insured women.
