Plant the included stake in the ground in your yard or garden in a location that will get plenty of direct sunlight. Attach the flower head to the base pole, and each night the color-changing LED will glow brightly for four to six hours, changing colors from white to yellow to red to green to blue and back again.

The base's built-in solar panel collects and converts sunlight into DC power every day while each flower's pre-installed Ni-MH rechargeable battery stores the energy to power the light at night.
