Essential Info: Stop fumbling around for a light switch in the dark or while you have something in your hands, by using the Smarthome Screw-in Motion Sensing Light Adapter you can have light bulbs turn on automatically when you enter a room and off automatically after you leave. It doesn't get any easier than this; there is no wiring or advanced installation required. Simply turn the existing light switch off, remove the light bulb it controls, screw in the adapter to the empty socket, screw the light bulb back into the adapter and turn the switch back to on. Now you can carry those dirty clothes into the laundry room, walk into the garage, enter a walk-in closet, go to the basement or climb up into the attic and never get stuck looking for a light switch. The Passive Infrared (PIR) motion sensor detects movement with a 360° field of vision up to five meters. There are three adjustable dials that let you customize the settings of your adapter. This automatic switch will not only make your life more convenient, but because it turns of automatically, it conserves energy as well.

LITE: adjusts when the adapter will turn a light on according to lighting intensity. The moon symbol represents weak lighting intensity and the sun symbol represents strong lighting intensity. Turn the dial clockwise for the adapter to work in a strong lighting intensity and counterclockwise for weak lighting intensity.
TIME: adjusts the on time for the light when the adapter is triggered. The "-" symbol represent the minimum amount of time (5 seconds) and the "+" symbol represents the maximum amount of time (100 seconds). Turn the dial clockwise to increase on time and counterclockwise to decrease on time.
SENSOR: adjust the detection range for the PIR motion sensor, maximum area is approximately five meters in a 360 degree fashion from the adapter. The "-" symbol represents the minimum detection range and the "+" symbol represents the maximum detection range. Turn the dial clockwise to increase detection range and counterclockwise to decrease detection range

Please Note: Once the adapter has been installed properly and power has been applied, the initial warm up may cause the adapter to turn the light on and off several times within the first 60 seconds. Once the Smarthome Screw-in Motion Sensing Light Adapter has warmed up, it will take a bit of effort to fine tune each of the dials to your desired settings.
