Hard to get to a good temperature Review by Livingston
Sustainability Value We've been using this SunOven all summer and have mixed reviews. It is difficult to get it to maintain a high temperature, like 350 degrees. It's not to hard to get it up to 350, but maintaining it requires some babying and a close eye. Works well once it gets the temperature maintained. (Posted on 8/18/09)

Very well designed Review by Will
Value Sustainability I've had my SunOven for about 3 weeks. It took a few experiments to get it dialed in, but now it's cooking.
Make sure to read the instructions and be willing to trial a few recipes. Pre-heating is critical and make sure to adjust it to point at the sun as the sun moves.
It's a really well designed product. (Posted on 8/10/09) -
A learning experience Review by Kenny
Value Sustainability This oven is an interesting product. We use it for some outdoor cooking experimentation, educating the kids and camping trips. It requires a little patience to use and get used to. Follow the instructions and make sure to clean out the inside and let it heat up a few times to get the outgassing plastic smell out. Also, make sure to do the pre-heating to ensure that cooking works properly.
It is an impressive amount of heat it can generate and it can cook a lot of different food. Make sure to look into recipe books and online sites which have recommendations for cooking ideas. (Posted on 7/14/09)
