Imagine growing a vegetable garden on your deck, in your sunroom or on your balcony. Nancy Jane’s Self-Watering Stacking Tubs, a new innovation in Nancy Jane’s Stacking Planters product line, allows you to have a garden in your house, on your table, your patio, your sunroom or deck --virtually anywhere.
Like other products in Nancy Jane’s Stacking Planter line, the Stacking Tubs package features two or three interlocking or “nesting” tiers. Each tier has three spaces for plants and is made of heavy-duty polypropylene and resists fading and cracking. One three tier set of Stacking Tubs measures 24” in diameter and 28” high. Imagine growing nine pepper plants in one small 2 ft. round space!
“The biggest challenge with container gardening is having enough space and soil for the plant to grow,” says Nancy Wilkes, President of NJ Supply Ltd., the exclusive distributor of Nancy Jane’s Stacking Planters. “Nancy Jane’s Stacking Planters product line provides enough room for plants to thrive and the Stacking Tubs product was specifically developed to grow larger crops in a small space. Now truly anyone can have a garden.”
Stacking Tubs can be used indoors or out and offers more options than just planting to home owners and gardeners. It incorporates the same technology as the Self-Watering Stacking Planters with a newly patented grid system that redirects water that tries to escape out of the sides of the pots into the water reservoir where tubes of soil rest to naturally wick the moisture up as your plants need it, so you water less often.
An optional tray with casters is also now available to make moving your garden easier. In addition to being used as a planter, an optional pump kit will be available in combination with the Stacking Tubs to create a hydroponics growing system. Nancy Jane’s Stacking Tubs may be stacked as high as 7 layers tall. Strawberries, cherry or grape tomatoes, bib lettuce and onions are just a few garden variety products that thrive in the Stacking Tubs planters.
Stacking Planters, including Stacking tubs are available in four colors to accent both indoor and outdoor themes: Terracotta, Tuscany, Moss Green and Stone. Decorator colors are also available.
