If using the dye chips sold here and included in our Soap Making Kits, one dye chip will color approximately 4 pounds of soap. Use less or more depending on your desired color. We do not recommend using dye if using the oatmeal glycerine melt and pour base.
1 oz fragrance oil should be used per 8 lbs of soap, which can be altered depending on your desired strength. Be sure you are using fragrance oils designed specifically for soap making, such as the fragrance oils for sale here and included in our kits.
Children should NOT be left unsupervised when making soap.
