Legaré SustainableTM The world's most sustainable furniture. Think green. Think really, really green. Legaré Sustainable is produced from Moso bamboo, the most valuable and sustainable species of bamboo in the world. Amazingly, it regenerates over 100 feet in height in less than 6 months yet it's one of the strongest building materials known, having been used for construction for over 5000 years. Legaré Sustainable plywood utilizes only the finest Moso bamboo harvested from groves in central China. And Legaré Sustainable has an eco-friendly "carbonized" finish produced by a non-toxic kiln process that gives our furniture its rich golden amber color. In fact, the kiln process uses the waste material from plywood manufacture for its heat source.
The Legaré Sustainable line includes a complete range of office, media and occasional furniture. Patented tool-free assembly, incredibly strong tab & slot design, and many other forward-thinking user features, are just a few of the innovations you'll find in every piece of Legare SustainableTM furniture.

* No hardware required. Patented tool-free assembly!
* All Legaré panels use a patented locking design, so there are no screw holes to line up, small hardware pieces to lose or complicated instruction steps to follow. Assembly is fun, fast and simple.
* Sturdy and strong: each successive piece locks previous pieces into place so they won't come apart until you take them apart.
* Modular design allows you to lock multiple units together to form a single, rigid workspace.
* Units can be assembled and disassembled repeatedly without damage, unlike other ready to assemble furniture.
* Adjustable shelving under the work surfaces.
* Large 3 1/2" cable routing openings in the desk tops, through the backs of all shelves and through vertical supports between all components.
* Short risers on the backs of work surfaces hide cables and desk clutter from view.
* Versatile asymmetric design allows most all Legaré desks, extenders & media towers to be reverse-configured for right hand or left hand installation. This is especially useful for doubling the life of a work surface. An unfortunate scratch or scrape is remedied by simply flipping the assembly for a completely new desktop.
